Benjamin Tan

Charles Darwin University

Associate Professor Benjamin is the Associate Dean Research in the College of Nursing and Midwifery at Charles Darwin University. He is also an Adjunct Professor in Nursing at Southwest Medical University Hospital. Benjamin received his PhD from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and his PhD training was partially completed at the highly regarded University of Manchester in the UK. Benjamin’s research background is centred on evidence-based practice and cancer supportive care. He has extensive experience in successfully leading and coordinating several high-quality randomized controlled trials for symptom management in patients with cancer and chronic conditions. His work has been published in over 80 publications in international and national peer-review journals and conferences, and he has participated in more than 20 research projects as a key investigator.
