Helen Gooden

ANZGOG

Dr Helen Gooden is the ANZGOG Survivors Teaching Students (STS) National Manager, leading the development of ANZGOG's experiential learning program in nursing, medical and health sciences schools across Australia and New Zealand. Helen is a nurse whose professional focus is psychosocial care in oncololgy, specifically ovarian, gynaecological cancers, brain, unknown primary and pancreatic cancer. Her PhD explored the psychosocial needs of people affected by pancreatic cancer with the outcomes informing an online pancreatic cancer psychosocial support program. Helen has a depth of experience in the cancer sector in not-for-profit, consulting and government cancer agencies. She is a member of CNSA, COSA and PaCCSC.
